Urban Soils Institute collaborated with artist Margaret Boozer to recontextualize the correlation boxes from the Reconnaissance Soil Survey, first displayed at Museum of Art and Design in 2012. Here at Mary Mattingly’s Swale House, we have the opportunity to add much more information about what these soils are and why they are important. This 3 year exhibition dovetails nicely with Urban Soils Institute’s Soil Lab and office, also on site.
